Below are well-established programs that help brands, suppliers and facilities choose safer alternatives to harmful chemicals.

Apple’s Safer Cleaners Program—Apple has partnered with GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals, ToxFMD Screened Chemistry Program, and US EPA Safer Choice Standard to assess and certified safer cleaners for industry use.

EPA Safer Choice—Helps consumers, businesses, and purchasers find products that perform and contain ingredients that are safer for human health and the environment. Safer Choice is an EPA Pollution Prevention (P2) program, which includes practices that reduce, eliminate, or prevent pollution at its source, such as using safer ingredients in products.

GreenScreen Certified—Promotes the use of inherently safer chemicals in products and manufacturing. Products are certified to Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Scivera Screened Chemistry—SciveraLens offers screened chemistry programs, helping companies and suppliers meet their requirements quickly and cost-effectively.

TCOs Accepted Substance List—TCO provides a list of safer alternatives to hazardous substances, all screened by licensed GreenScreen profilers.

ToxFMD—ToxServices’ Full Material Disclosure (ToxFMD) Screened Chemistry® is ToxServices’ flagship program for evaluating chemical formulations and conducting product stewardship audits.
